Hi-Rel Alloys is the division behind Hi-Rel Group's solder. From our ISO 9001 certified facility in Niagara Falls, Ontario, we have spent three decades alloying, rolling, and finishing the solder that seals and connects high-reliability microelectronic packages, the kind that cannot afford a failed joint in the field.
Because we alloy in-house, we control composition and purity from the melt forward, and we can build compositions that are not available off the shelf. Our proprietary Dry Rolling process reduces the contaminants that conventional rolling introduces, which means cleaner, higher-performing solder and better yield on your advanced packages. Alongside solder, we produce precious metal wire, wire bond tabs, machined carriers and bases, solder-seal combo lids, and sputtering and vapor deposition products, supported by in-house tooling, EDM, CNC, and laser machining, and a tool-free prototyping capability for fast, low-cost early builds.
We supply aerospace and defense, medical, telecom, and petrochemical and energy programs where reliability is the requirement, not a preference, and our facility is ISO 9001:2015 certified and RoHS and REACH compliant.
